    • Division 1: 3 & 4 year olds
    • Division 2: 5 & 6 year olds
    • Division 3: 7 & 8 year olds
    • Division 4: 9 & 10 year olds
  • Boys and Girls pull against each other by age.
  • Contestants must register by the start of their age division. Late registrations may not be accepted.
  • A contestant must pull the sled the designated length to complete that weight.
  • Each category will begin with an unweighted sled and then will increase by a consistent amount each pull.
  • Results will record the last completed pull weight.
  • In the case of a tie, a pull off will be held. Pull offs may be held by weight or time.
  • A competitor may not place a hand on the tractor tire at any time during their pull to help increase their distance. Both hands should be on the
    steering wheel during the pull.
  • A competitor may not place one or both feet on the ground to push the tractor forward. Both feet should be on the pedals during the pull.
  • There can be no loss of forward pressure. It is not permitted to stop and start again. No jerking by pedal or body mass.
  • The competitor must remain in contact with the seat bottom at all times. If a contestant lifts off the seat the pull will be stopped and the
competitor’s distance will be measured at the location that they lifted. If a seat has a backrest, contact to the seat is defined as contact with the
    seat bottom.
  • All competitors must wear shoes, no bare feet. (Tie, Velcro shoes, or boots that completely enclose the foot and provide good traction on the
    pedals is strongly recommended.)
